Easy on the Eye Award

Thanks to our friends at CCL Label Australia, we’re bringing back the fan favourite category, recognising brands with exceptional design and the people behind it.
Easy on the Eye is judged by a panel consisting of distinguished graphic and packaging design professionals. Together, they’ll make a decision based on two factors: the label’s visual aesthetic, and the effectiveness and appropriateness of the design within the context of the product and brand. 

The award formally recognises the absolute best in consumer product packaging design Australia wide, bringing awareness to the immense value that lies in well-designed brand packaging.

The winning brand and designer will be awarded some bloody brilliant industry-specific opportunities. This winning brand will win $5000 worth of printing credit at CCL Label.


All entries are judged on three key criteria: creativity, impact, and execution. 

Judges consider designers’ aesthetic choices, balanced with the effectiveness and appropriateness of the design within the context of the product and the brand. Impact, originality, creativity, innovation, execution and relevance to the target market are all considered in equal measure. 

Easy on the Eye’s judging panel and process is separate to Drink Easy’s — this award is judged by a panel of distinguished graphic and packaging design professionals.

Easy on the Eye Grant 

For the third year, we’ve partnered with strategic brand consultancy, Molasses, to offer a $5,000 grant for professional advice, brand strategy and/or design services. The intention of this grant is to provide support to a young or emerging business by bringing to life a project that would otherwise not have seen the light of day.

1.1. You agree that all information pertaining to the processes and results of the Drink Easy Awards and any other information determined to be confidential (verbally, written or otherwise) by Drink Easy and agents thereof is subject to non-disclosure until such time as Drink Easy deems this information fit for release verbally, written, via publication, or otherwise. Disclosure of any information will result in instant disqualification for any Drink Easy Award.

2.0. Use of images and footage

2.1. You grant Drink Easy and affiliated programs permission to use images provided by you for marketing purposes.

3.0. Eligibility

3.1. All entrants must be eligible and submit in the 2022 Drink Easy awards.

3.2. The Judges’ decisions will be final, and no correspondence shall be entered into.
