TASTING NOTES:
Light straw in colour with brisk bead. Really zesty citrus notes, clean with light lees, more persistent bubbles than expected with lovely texture. A light very refreshing version of the style.

A complex nose with golden fruit, honey and spiced apples. A pleasing viscosity is found in the palate, balanced with minerality, frisky bubbles and a zing of crunchy acidity. Has quality enough to stand alone or with food. Feels like a well-crafted pet nat.

An earthier, dry expression. Savoury notes, toast and nuts, dried apple, bruised apple, saline hints. Lots going on here, wild. Would work well with cheese or as a late night pet nat. Likeable for its eccentricity and well-made.

TASTING NOTES:
Nicely done sparkling wine here. Kicks off with lemon, grapefruit and light yeasty-leesy notes. The palate is very fresh though it leans toward simplicity and is quite firm. Good texture emerges with time and generally a positive experience with an interesting/delicious drink.

TASTING NOTES:
Light rose petal notes then yeasty characters in the bouquet. The palate is more tangy strawberry with faint nuttiness, generally feeling super lively and delicate, yet a nice bite and crunch. Ticks lots of boxes.

Bright, youthful and energetic glass of wine with fantastic rainbow of citrus characters and high-toned floral notes. There's some sweet citrus and green mango going on; bright, tight bubbles and a starburst of grapefruity tang to close. A perfect pre-midday drink.

Something feels very posh about this pet nat - very primp and preen. White peach and pink grapefruit on the nose. A nice journey of textures with great aperitif qualities: bitter, sweet and refreshing to taste. Persistent bubbles are a feature. Classy gear.

This is a good drink, simply done well, bright and friendly. Offers light pink peachy-strawberry skin contact fruit and savouriness. There's sweet floral and interesting aromatics. The mousse and bubbles pop well in the palate and the wine finishes tart and firm-refreshing.

Good drinking, easy drinking. This is a tart-meets-savoury number that shows citrus and bruised apple with walnut and cashew notes, creamy bubble, tangy-tart finish. The wine has a wild streak but tames up well in its finish. An excellent rendition of the pet nat vibe.

TASTING NOTES:
An absolutely brilliant, scintillating white of fragrance, precision and racy nature. Opens with talcum and floral aromas, mouthwatering apple-y palate, and presents as a more textural riesling. There's plenty going on in the fruit, minerality, texture and velocity departments here. Ultra tasty, is the assessment.

Delicate perfume of grapefruit, citrus blossom and apple. A squeaky-textured wine of intensity, high tensile freshness, tight finish and some textural detail. A brilliant light white of summery vitality.

TASTING NOTES:
A beautiful wine, distinct and original, opens with rich lemon and lemon curd scents, faint savoury nuttiness and some almond croissant character. The palate is opulent but fresh, loose-knit in a way but covers the palate beautifully. Light but savoury and yet refreshing.

A scintillating white of high velocity, and though it feels austere and lean, delivers minerally-slate character, good concentration in its sleek frame and a juicy, bright finish. Feels limey to taste too. Very good, restrained style here.

TASTING NOTES:
Attractive wine of jasmine blossoms and white lily scents with whiffs of pomelo and Calippo ice block. Nicely handled feel of fruit sweetness, giving an extra dimension to the palate. Great drinking to be had here.

Classic lines. Bright perfume of red apple skin, citrus and citrus blossom with a faint steely element. Palate is bone dry, offers some grip and delivers appealing, lean apple flavour. Tightly wound, laser-like style. Great for cellaring, one could assume.

Distinctly fun, expressive white wine that shows good-time sour-sweet stone-fruit aromas, a touch of grassiness and green herbs. Persistent flavours with bright, tangy finish. Very summery kind of style with detail.

Tropical fruit scents meet light herb and citrus. Really soft and silky palate but some structure holds it together. Almost tonic water kind of vibe to taste with fruit, freshness and botanical detail in the mix. Feels like a good quality wine from an unfamiliar grape variety in the best possible sense.

Simple wine done well. This shows with good concentration and neat grip and acidity. That sense of a wine with everything nicely balanced emerges with bright fruit, fresh acidity and some depth to texture. A very complete wine that seems weighted to both sipping and food.

Hits the curiosity button. Shows perfume of dried, preserved and fresh stone fruit and citrus character. The palate is flavourful and grippy/chewy, with apple and citrus to the fore. There's structure, detail and interest through and through. Lots to explore in this wine. And it is delicious, straight up.

A wine imbued with high drinkability and ease of drinking mainlining apple-y fruitiness, some floral character and a touch of honey-toast detail. Washy texture, bright finish. Fun wine, for sunny days and general ease of consumption.

TASTING NOTES:
Straight up cracker. Shows with cider apple-y scents; pretty and savoury at once. Some ripeness and a distinct fino sherry lift. Chewy, grippy palate offers more of the apple and saline character, feels tightly wound and yet gently floral. High praise here - upgrade your picnic wine at once.

TASTING NOTES:
A wine of delicacy and substance, with a tussle between fruit, mineral and savoury character the mainstay. Shows some floral and peachy fruit scents, whiffs of biscuit dough. The palate is similar but shows good chewy grip through the finish. A wine of some detail and distinction.

A wine of freshness and simplicity. Pleasing style of dry tropical fruity scents, brisk acidity, general crispness and lolling textural lilt. A sense of funk and friskiness in spades. Guzzle with impunity.

TASTING NOTES:
Totally smashable white wine style built for pouring liberally at BBQs and other assorted feasts. Kicks off with vibrant jasmine and lifted grapefruit scents. Fine in the palate with brisk, citrusy freshness coupled to sweet spice, soft fennel notes and a wrap of fine, minerally-chalky tannins. Brilliant wine in general with early complexity to the fore.

TASTING NOTES:
Floral and a light bounce of acid here, a pretty and light wine - easy breezy. A good pair for summer foods.

Fresh, fruity, refreshing. A brisk and brilliant white wine that marries a strong stone fruit vibe with a general sense of prettiness and power. Bright acid, mouth-watering tang, vivacity in spades. Delivers a lot here.

TASTING NOTES:
Classy wine this. Things start with fine, toasty oak characters married to fresh citrus and green apple. There's more of that savoury depth to taste but the overwhelming rush of frisky, Granny Smith apple acidity and just-ripe nectarine fruitiness does a trick. Very well made and premium with everything beautifully balanced. Would be well received by all.

TASTING NOTES:
Restrained and elegent, baked apple danish, fresh lemon, honey suckle all jostling. The palate is very pretty, it's a relatively simple fresh style with just a hint of autolysis. Neat.

TASTING NOTES:
An inwardly concentrated white that shows with juiciness of fruit but tightly kept with chalky pucker and a sheath of sweet spice. Strong perfume of glazed nuts, ripe apple and sea spray too. A powerful, potent style with superb balance.

TASTING NOTES:
A flor-influenced wine reminscent of fino sherry but with more body and nuttiness. Lemon balm scents with cashew and sea spray, the palate is similar, very long in flavour, finishing freshy and saline tangy. An intriguing style done very well.

TASTING NOTES:
Bold, bright, flavoursome white of fresh grapefruit-like scents and flavours with high-tone herbal notes, chiseled edges in texture, joyous vibrant fruit character and a general ease of drinking and ready charm. Doesn't reinvent the wheel but does what it does well - lots of pleasure.

TASTING NOTES:
This opens with a high-tone fruit spectrum - watermelon and cranberry, green herbs and Campari-like things. The palate offers crunchy freshness, brightness, pleasing bitter elements and surprising persistence and length. It's wholly excellent stuff, though it's far from a 'classic rosé'. Strap in for the refreshment factor.

TASTING NOTES:
Delicate and lifted, strawberry and sour cherry, rose water and gentle spice. Good perfume. The perfume matches the palate - you'll find fine structure and good freshness, length and succulence. Perhaps the rosé could do with a little more complexity but the overwhelming drinkability makes this soar through the pack.

TASTING NOTES:
One of the more interesting rosés with a blend of soft red fruits, savoury hints, chompy tannins, sour-refreshing acidity, Aperol-like characters, herbs and general crunch and bite. Better structure than found in so many other rosés, and better vivacity and general vibe. Cool wine.

TASTING NOTES:
Well-structured dry rosé with scents of fresh strawberries, raspberries, red currants and cherries, a mix of redness wedded to rose petal and some light vermouth-botanical notes. Texture and finish is dry, though there is a light juiciness somewhere in there too. Lovely stuff.

TASTING NOTES:
So very pleasing, easy to like and get into. Texture is quite crunchy and brisk, some prettiness of red berry fruits between bouquet and palate, an inherent delicacy to the fruit spectrum. Not bad at all.

TASTING NOTES:
Juicy then swerves to dry. Red cherries married to blood orange tang. Scents of rose water and watermelon. Ticks lots of boxes. While relatively simple, the pleasure factor is through the roof. Summery stuff.

TASTING NOTES:
Richer style of dry rosé with some concentrated red cherry characteristics, Amaro notes, sweet spice and fresh redcurrant finish. It feels like quality fruit is the motif and it's exciting to see it on full display. Great style here.

TASTING NOTES:
Fun-lovin' rosé style with rose water, cranberry and pomegranate shooting through the bouquet and palate. Seems to be slightly riper in style, not sweet per se, but with good concentration. There's a suggestion of red wine grip and, hence, ends up feeling like a more serious style.

TASTING NOTES:
This is a more confected rosé with slippery texture and juiciness but the finish is so very dry, chalky and bright that you get the picture this is a good alternative style that pushes red grape flavour to the fore. Pretty feel all up, and built for summery consumption.

TASTING NOTES:
A floral, fruit-driven orange wine of just-ripe stone fruit scents, floral notes, vermouth-like lift. The palate is juicy then firmly puckering and dry. Shows tang of acidity for freshness and compelling trim of chalky-mineral charm. Great drinking here.

TASTING NOTES:
A superb skin-fermented white wine that will impress for its fruitiness but almost impressive structure. A serious orange wine but has a wild streak and general drinkability in tow. Smells like peach tea and floral-ginger spice. There's really nice chalky grip in the palate, good length, great dart-like shape and a brilliant, fresh but chewy finish. Fantastic.

TASTING NOTES:
Compelling and eccentric orange wine but feels quite 'authentic' to many of the world's great, more extreme examples, running with full, tropical fruit character, bitter orange, apple juice, but also a nutty, oxidative edge. There are saline notes in the mix too. So much going on, so much to sink into and enjoy.

TASTING NOTES:
A stellar example of skin contact white wine: tangy, taut, brilliantly minerally and chalky, zesty in citrus and dry nashi pear flavours. Similar in bouquet with sea spray chiming in. Races across the palate and finishes in a tight pucker. Such good drinking.

TASTING NOTES:
This has some exotic character but is readily enjoyable. Opens with wet tea leaf, dried apricot, green apple scents, following through to the palate with jucy acid and bitter but grippy tannins. Flavours are more apple and citrusy with brisk acidity and a light, talc-like mineral thing going on. Nicely done.

TASTING NOTES:
Pretty wine of rounded texture, ripe seeming citrus fruit, bright acidity, long flavours of fresh peach tea and amaro with a slightly bitter finish. All up this is a charming skin fermented white wine, joyous and frisky, fun and lively. Get stuck in.

TASTING NOTES:
Lots going on in this wine. Starts savoury, slight herbal, faint saline notes appear, then to taste, a little waxy and textured - it feels like a great food wine. Flavours and scents of dry, green apple, a lick of bitter, white vermouth-like tang, some citrus going on. Charisma plus.

TASTING NOTES:
Lots going on, a kind of oddball wine but in the best possible sense. Starts with whiffs of pickled ginger, sour plum, umeboshi, mustard fruits. The palate is similarly exotic with tangy citrus, green apple, some yuzu and a herbal note. There's brisk acidity and a pucker of tannin in the mix. It's unfettered and intriguing stuff.

TASTING NOTES:
Quite a broad and fleshy sparkling wine; good richness with honeycomb, butter, pastry and freshly-baked apple characters. Feels well-balanced but bold with a core of crisp, tight acidity amongst more of the ripe apple, apricot, bricohe, danish pastry things going on. An appealing, lingering finish and good, creamy mousse.

TASTING NOTES:
This is a fancy-feeling sparkling wine. It's rich on the nose offering toasted brioche, honey hints, ripe apple and spice. There's proper clean acidty, licks of vanilla, more toasted brioche, baked apple flavours and a sense that the balance of freshness and richness is keenly met. Bubbles are bright, the finish sparkles. Super stuff.

TASTING NOTES:
This feels classy and rich. Despite that statement there's some restraint from mid palate to the finish, with zesty, green apple acidity and brisk bubbles a feature. Some lovely creaminess to texture upfront, we get baked apple, vanilla, buttery notes with hints of peach and apricot. Top flight sparkling.

TASTING NOTES:
A pretty rosé-style sparkling offering obvious strawberries and cream on the nose, though the palate is dry, restrained and feels light and fresh. Very well composed, delicious and vibrant to drink. Fruit-driven but enough savoury, nutty complexity to bring more interest. Cracker.

TASTING NOTES:
Big, bold style, easy drinking in its nature. Huge bouquet of rich, fresh honeycomb, lemon curd, lemon zest and baked apple. The palate runs with similar flavours, easy drinking sweet-softness and a dry, crackling, citrusy finish. Not overly complex but generally just very good to drink.

TASTING NOTES:
Stemmy, savoury, violet floral and geranium notes are woven through complex, savoury-leaning fruit characters. A racy red but one with tannin, shape and fine structure. Beautifully balanced acid keeps the wine perky and lean. Fantastic drinking.

TASTING NOTES:
Fragile, on the edge of ripeness and perky with acidity, this is a racy, lighter red with cranberry crush characters and general brightness a feature. Pleasingly refereshing style.

TASTING NOTES:
A gum forest of purple flowers spiced with pine needles - an unusual but compelling start. Bold aromatics, followed by a very refined and elegant palate, with green herbal detail a feature in the sour-sweet cherry fruitiness. Lovely, fine wine.

TASTING NOTES:
Starts with some good red berry-cherry fruit on the nose, with come-hither savoury notes, clove and cinnamon, some undergrowth too. Similar in the palate, but svelte, flowing beautifully and finishing with a flourish of fruit and spice.  

TASTING NOTES:
Seems classic cabernet has found a lighter expression, this wine showing with blueberry fruitiness, cassis scents and strong capsicum/herbal notes. The palate is light in weight but full in flavour, with ripe tannin and a pretty, slightly sour cherry finish. Yum.

TASTING NOTES:
Rich and ripe plums, red and black cherries, elegant and crisp acidity. Red currants coming through on the palate, a really enjoyable wine that's worth spending a bit of time thinking about. It's restrained and elegant so it could be easy to miss the complexity and lingering length of this wine.

TASTING NOTES:
A vibrant expression definitively in light red territory; opens with violets, florals berries and vanilla sweet spice. Then there's the nicely shaped palate with fine but puckering tannins and freshness of fruit that is well balanced. Well-made and great drinking wine.

TASTING NOTES:
A unique feel here. Lifts from the glass with crushed leaves, bramble notes, late-ripe berries, some violet and a spearmint-y waft. Lots going on. The palate is shaped by fine tannins, frisky in feel, crunch and pucker to texture with very vibrant and detailed fruit, herb, peppery character. A delight!

TASTING NOTES:
This is fun to drink. Charming wine of savoury-sweet fruitiness, sweaty herbs, strawberry and spice. Freshness is the motif. Crisp texture, bite to acidity, gorgeous fruitiness in the mix. Drink chilled with impunity.

TASTING NOTES:
Saline oyster shell nose, salty, some berry fruits, earthy and smokey too. Sits perfectly at medium weight, almost a little sloshy in texture though a smudge of dusty tannins chimes in. Moreish, soft and juicy, bright too. Just so delicious.

TASTING NOTES:
A very impressive wine that sits right in the medium-bodied zone yet shows deep brooding, dark berries and a slice of game meat with herbal characters. There's a salty note too, sea spray, the wine feels maritime, dark fruited, slick and firm with a shot of good tannin. This is elegant but personality-filled. A coup.

TASTING NOTES:
A juicy, jovial red of high deliciousness and general vibrancy. Opens with black jelly bean, aniseed and vanilla though there's plummy goodness lurking in that bouquet too. Palate is good, round and anicely wrapped in high-quality fine tannin.

TASTING NOTES:
A coursing, medium-weight red of dark cherry, leather and earth, showing rustic tannins holding burnt orange peel acidity in a shapely flow of dark fruit and ashy savouriness. Superb tannins and a fantastic feel overall. Something special here.

TASTING NOTES:
Pleasantly reductive perfume, perhaps slightly volcanic and earthy in scent, shows some autumn leaves and raisinated cherry character in the bouquet. The wine slides effortlessly through the palate, faint game meat in the mix, with medium tannins and acid, lifted herbal detail and effortlessly long in flow.

TASTING NOTES:
An exciting wine for its character and personality, slightly left of centre, red cherry and raspberry, generous feel in the mouth but fresh, too, spiked with vermouth-like botanicals and herbs, zesty through the finish. Lots to like.

TASTING NOTES:
Dusty, cedar, jubey red berry fruit, dry velvety tannins slender in the palate but offering good concentration. Drives well, light juiciness to close, a dusting of spice for interest. This is elegant stuff and drinks a treat - get the big glasses.

TASTING NOTES:
Fresh strawberry with a bit of liquorice in the bouquet - a super pretty and attractive start. Strawberry on palate with concentration in mid palate and reasonable structure with sheets of fine tannin laid down on that fruity vibe. There's a grapey purity here, gentle sweetness and freshness. A simple wine but oh so pleasing.

TASTING NOTES:
This feels like a pedigree - dark cherry, sweet spice and a whiff of clove. The palate offers waves of succulent minerality and crunchy bright fruit. It's a wine that layers in detail and interest but feels inherently easy to drink solo, but charm will come with gently spiced dishes.

TASTING NOTES:
Really juicy blueberries, blackberries, black cherries and hints of vanilla and smoke. Great start. Well-structured tannin and acidity, perky and bright through the finish. Has an almost Italianate feel to it in lift and spice. Great drinking for now and short-term ageing.

TASTING NOTES:
(2017,SA) Herbaceous nose with dark plummy notes, shows some cassis and floral things too. Nicely balanced palate with some blueberry and cassis fruit in the mix, smooth ride until quite a coarse tannin profile in the finish. The gist will please many.

TASTING NOTES:
A beautiful, bigger wine, with softness, suppleness and flow in its favour. Opens with gentle black fruits in a eucalypt forest, the palate echoes the bouquet and there's spice-laden, suede textured tannins shaping the wine well. It's such a lovely red. 

TASTING NOTES:
Fresh but stewed raspberry/strawberry with whiffs of Christmas cake, mulled wine spice and grilled meat. The palate is quite intense, dense, slick and round with soft tannin, good flavour intensity and a satisfying, long, fleshy-sweet finish. Satisfying stuff.

TASTING NOTES:
Despite some heft the wine retains a relatively youthful, medium depth. Dark berries jostle with sweet spice, there's an unnamed funk and savoury, sour cherry edge. Lots going on in this wine, a riper style with panache and balance.

TASTING NOTES:
Perfumed, fuller flavoured but fresh red, shows with perfume of sweet turned earth, brambles and blackberries, liquorice and choc-cherry. The palate lands some rose water on forest berry characters, softness with a saltbush and gummy tannin finish. It's a pearler in the fuller style.

TASTING NOTES:
Everything in its right place. Plush, plummy fruit and violet floral character glow on the nose. The palate has some nice tang to acidity, great balance and fine structural tannins, loads the mouth with mulberry, herbal notes, tangy acidity and peppery spice. Geez, this has some charisma.

TASTING NOTES:
Fresh wormwood, amaro bitter herb characters on a fresh rosé base. Amazing execution of this particular style paying great homage to it's traditional home! Lovely balance, and restraint shown in bitter characteristics. Kudos!

TASTING NOTES:
Super nutty although very directed, with a pristine clarity - utterly delicious! Evident restraint shown, postively handled aperitif style. Jamon BEAST!

TASTING NOTES:
Beautiful Arabic and Cajun spice dominate the aroma in a very, very pleasing way - intriguing! Rocking! Utterly perfect balance between sweetness/bitterness. Gorgeous palate weight, Delicate, aromatic, length, flavour and personality.

Bright muscat-type nose, full of dried mandarin and citrus. Ultimate refreshment. Brilliant balance of sweetness with crunchy, crisp acidity. Amazing rancio - very exciting wine.

TASTING NOTES:
Hearty rancio and developed characters, very clean example of the style. Caramel for days. The complexity isn't weighed down, instead shows with a spritely acidity and it's a really great drinking variant of the style. 

TASTING NOTES:
Muscat aromas on high! Bright and fresh! Immense complexity and super-well balanced sweetness, showing remarkable restraint. Lifted and driven acidity. Incredible execution. Complex and compelling. Well done!

TASTING NOTES:
Beautiful use of fresh wormwood, with an intensity setting it out on the table. Clean, and fresh nose, really pleasing palate weight, broad, perhaps needing a little more acidity, although very impressed with the clarity of botanical use and cleanliness of the base wine. Good drinking.

TASTING NOTES:
Full, powerful, rich spice and heady sweetness in the bouquet. Warm spirit is a thing here, there's generosity and slickness in the palate too with a dry, bony finish. Fruit is opulent, attractive in the mix, with mature characters in the mix. Quite compelling.

TASTING NOTES:
Loaded with exotic spice, burnt orange, lovely dried fruit, rancio character with well-judged sweetness. There's a power here, breathiness and direct line to the clean spirit. Spice finishes the wine intensely. Serious stuff here.
